The new Freejump Soft'Up Pro Safety Stirrups are the latest generation of the iconic Soft'Up range. In this redesigned version, Freejump combines safety, shock absorption and stability with a more sustainable and fully repairable design. The result is a premium stirrup for riders looking to combine maximum performance and comfort with Freejump's trusted safety technology.
The Soft'Up Pro features the characteristic flexible and open Elastollan® outer branch. It is engineered to open under pressure, facilitating foot release in the event of a fall. The shape of the main branch is also designed to facilitate foot release without creating an unwanted hooking effect. The lower part of the flexible outer branch is reinforced to withstand the forces generated during a sharp turn or unexpected movement.
The spring steel single-branch structure absorbs up to 30% of the forces exerted on the stirrup. Combined with a cushioning elastomer, it creates an effective shock absorption system that helps reduce strain on the rider's joints and the horse's back. The offset centre of gravity naturally encourages a heel-down position and contributes to a stable and balanced position in the saddle.
The footbed has also been developed with performance and durability in mind. Metal studs provide optimal grip and can be replaced when worn. The new Soft'Up Pro is also designed for a long service life: components can be repaired or replaced and the stirrup is 100% recyclable at the end of its life.
