Function of bell boots

Bell boots are usually worn on the front hooves of a horse and provide an extra layer of protection against injuries such as “stepping over” – this occurs when a horse touches or bumps its front hooves with its hind hooves. An alternative to leather is artificial leather, which combines a luxurious look with easy maintenance. Artificial leather can usually be washed in the washing machine or cleaned with a spray specifically for artificial leather.
