The hanging cheek or Baucher cheekpiece is a variation of the eggbutt snaffle with smaller rings attached above the main rings. The cheekpieces are attached to the upper rings and the reins to the lower rings, creating a slight leverage effect. The hanging cheek is widely used by pony riders in higher competition classes but can also help ease the transition from a regular snaffle to a double bridle.

The Inno Sense Flexi Soft bits are made from elastic synthetic material and are highly flexible, making the bit very horse-friendly. Despite the flexibility, the Inno Sense Flexi Soft bit remains very solid thanks to its flexible stainless steel core.

Bits from the Inno Sense collection can be used for all horses but are particularly suitable for young horses and horses with sensitive mouths. The synthetic material used is FDA-approved, meaning it is non-toxic and free from plasticizers. Horses ridden with an Inno Sense mouthpiece easily follow the rider’s hand and readily accept the bit. The Inno Sense Flexi Soft is less suitable for very strong horses.
