Kentucky Horsewear Anatomical Absorb Wool Saddle Pad

At the request of many riders, we developed a saddle pad with the same composition as our popular Absorb saddle pad, but in a much thinner version. This ensures that, when the saddle fits correctly, the rider remains closer to the horse. This enhances the feel between horse and rider while still providing excellent protection for the horse’s back thanks to the 5-layer system that absorbs shocks and minimizes saddle pressure.

The saddle pad features a 5-layer system consisting of an absorbent fabric, memory foam, shock-absorbing gel, another layer of memory foam, and a final absorbent fabric. The outer lining is made of microfiber with ventilation holes, allowing the pad to dry quickly and preventing slipping. As a result, both the top and underside are anti-slip.

The thin layered design offers maximum freedom of movement and stability, reduces potential back discomfort, and provides extra comfort for both horse and rider. Thanks to its anatomical shape, the withers and spine remain completely free and free from pressure.

Machine washable
Most of our products are machine washable at 30°C. However, we recommend washing them as infrequently as possible and using our protective laundry bags to maintain long-term quality. We also advise using professional washing machines with a larger capacity to prevent damage caused by friction. To dry, simply hang the product outdoors on a sunny day. Tumble drying is not recommended.
